The Woodlands Golf & Country Club has a very active schedule of events for Senior Golfers of all skill levels and ages.
Woodlands Senior One-Day Events
Woodlands Senior One-Day Events allow Members of the Woodlands to sign-up as individuals and play in various formats throughout the year. We conduct one Senior One-Day Event each month. This is a great way to meet new members and new playing partners. Entry fees for the Woodlands Senior One-Day Events are $10.00 plus the $17.00 Cart Fee ($37.00 Total). Each One-Day Event includes prizes. You may bring a guest along with you at any of the Senior One-Day Events.
Woodlands Senior Interclub Matches
The League consists of eleven teams that play each other in match play. Each team plays five home and five away matches. A match is eight, two-man best ball teams, requiring sixteen players per club. Each match is worth three points—one each for the front, back, and the 18 holes. Full handicaps are used for participating players. Standings are determined by points accumulated throughout the season.
The season runs from February through September with playoffs held in October between the top four teams. Home matches for 2021 will be posted later. Players participate in the matches for cart fees plus League fees, resulting in a cost of $21 or less at each club.
